Jaguar Team Party
Celebrated the end of the Jaguar soccer season with a team party at The Jungle Gym. The kids had a great time.... jumping, pizza, cake, goody bags and of course a really cool trophy. The Neighborhood Youth Soccer League has been a wonderful way for Lily to learn the fundamentals of soccer and how to be part of a team. It was also nice having Daddy as one of her coach's! It was a successful season, we made lots of new friends and had a blast! We'll definitely be playing again next year. Now on to swimming lessons....

The Great Flood
We survived the great November Nor'easter, but not with out flooding. Our area of Virginia Beach received over 13 inches of rain. We only lost power for about a day, others were not as fortunate. Luckily Jeff was home, so the four of us enjoyed a mini stay-cation. Check out the video I posted below. Our entire street was flooded and impassable for almost a day. There were kids having canoe races up and down the street, as some areas of water were over Jeff's knees. The water came up as far as the back of our van. After 2 days of rain, Jeff and I were getting a little nervous. However, the house survived with no water damage.

OBX Half Marathon
Mile 10....tackling the BRIDGE!!!!
Outer Banks, North Carolina
Ran my second half marathon with Pam and had a great run. Managed to beat my Rock 'n Roll time by several minutes. Finished in 2:30 even, so I feel great (although, I was secretly hoping to get in the 2:20's...next time). It was a sunny, 60 degree day and the course was beautiful. There was a KILLER bridge at mile 10....straight up a half mile and straight down a half mile. So glad Pam and I drove down for the night and ran this race, we'll definitely run it again. I put the full slideshow below, as I took pictures of the course as I was running...enjoy!
