Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
We enjoyed a wonderful, quiet Christmas at home as a family. It was so nice to have Jeff with us this year. Christmas eve we opened a few presents, including a huge doll house from Grammy and Grampy Shaw. The girls played with that most of the day and then we sprinkled our reindeer food and left out cookies and milk for Santa. Christmas day we spent in our PJ's opening presents and playing with toys and games. It was truly a relaxing holiday... we all LOVED it!!
So... now I'm trying to catch up the blog a bit. Here are all the holiday pictures, first Christmas Eve and then Christmas day. Sorry for the multiple slideshows...too many cute ones to choose from! Enjoy!

Preschool Christmas Concert

The girls did an excellent job singing at the Mother's Day Out Preschool Christmas concert. Emma came in first singing Jingle Bells and a few other holiday favorites. I was so impressed with how well her 2 year old class did in front of all the parents. Emma sang loud and loved doing all the motions. She was a little nervous at times, but kept sticking her tongue out to one side to be silly. Lily came in second and sang several songs with her 4 year old class. We Need a Little Christmas, Rudolph and Happy Birthday Jesus were a few of the songs they sang. Jeff and I were so proud of them. It was a beautiful concert, the teachers and music department did a great job with all the children. We're already excited to for the Spring concert!

The Nutcracker
An absolutely wonderful day at the ballet. Lily and I both enjoyed watching the live perfomance of The Nutcracker by the Richmond Ballet. She loved the dancers, the stage...even the orchestra! It's so nice to have mother daughter moments like this. It was truly a special day for both of us. Lily's favorite part....watching the Nutcracker come to life and all the beautiful ballet dancers. This will definitely become a yearly tradition!
