Ocean Breeze

One of our first outings of the week....Ocean Breeze Waterpark with the Parenteau's.
We had a blast riding and playing all day. The weather was perfect and the kids were a dream!

It's been a while since I've done a milestone update, so here are some current stats for Emma:

• Has fully arrived at the "terrible two" stage
• Has a beautiful smile with 16 teeth, her 2 year old molars are breaking through now
• Loves to eat, her faves... mac and cheese, fruit, carrots, chips, cheese, ice cream, tacos, rice, Hersey kisses, m&m's and chicken nuggets
• Sleeps 12 hours a night and naps 1.5 hours during the day (bedtime is 7)
• Wants to do EVERYTHING her big sister Lily does
• Talks in complete sentences
• Has mild asthma
• Knows her alphabet & colors, can count to 14 and can sing several complete songs
• Her best buds...Jack & Sylvia and the Kreutzberg girls (She also LOVES Erin and Beas)
• LOVES Dora, Diego and The Wiggles
• Is afraid of the big bad wolf
• Loves to ride her tricycle and be outside
• MUST have hugs and kisses (standing up) every night before bed
• Drinks a metric ton every day
• LOVES any book, especially with Dora or the Little Mermaid
• Has a head full of curly hair and has never had it cut (trying to get those bangs to grow out)
• Loves gymnastics class, especially getting the stamps at the end
• Is a COMPLETE girly girl!!
• Has a baby with her at all times
• Has a temper and can be very sassy and stubborn
• Is super affectionate and loves hugs
• Enjoyed her first year of preschool at Mother's Day Out
• Will use the potty daily, but is not potty trained just yet
• Loves pink (just like Lily)
• Loves to say cheese and smile big for the camera
• Wears 2T and size 6 shoes
• Nicknames: Em, Emmy and Babygirl
• Can brush her teeth and put on her own shoes
• Loves crocs and flip flops (she's a complete beach girl)
• Loves her treehouse, trampoline and lawn chair
• Sleeps with a full crib...2 sleepy bears, 2 baby's, a carebear, a kitty, 2 blankets, a sippy cup and a book

We love you Em, you're always making Daddy and I laugh!

Celebrating Erin

It's hard to believe in just 2 weeks, one of my dearest friends will be moving away. Erin and her family will be relocating to Chicago to start the next exciting chapter in their lives (post military). I am thrilled for Erin and John, just sad I won't have her down the street any more. Lily and Emma will be lost with out Jack and Sylvia too. We have all grown so close these last few years.

To properly farewell Erin, the girls and I took her out for drinks and dinner at Sonoma Wine Bar and Bistro. It was a wonderful night out with all the girls and a true pleasure to celebrate such an amazing friend. You'll be missed Erin! We love you!

The girls are still loving their gymnastics classes and are getting really good at some of the skills. Emma loves the trampoline and bars, while Lily is a star on the balance beam.
