SURPRISE SHOWER IN MAINE!!
While we were in Maine for our Winter vacation, my Mom, sister and Aunt through me a surprise baby shower. Lots of my aunts and cousins were there and I had a wonderful time. I can HONESTLY say I was truly surprised. My Mom told me my sister was hosting a purse party... when we pulled in the driveway, I was shocked to see so many guests for the purse party had arrived early. Boy was I surprised when I opend the door. See the slideshow below for all the pics.
Thanks so much to my Mom, Aunt and sister for such a beautiful shower. Thanks to all my family who came and helped me celebrate baby #3! I feel very loved!

Hanging with the Ciaks
On the way back to Virginia, we stopped at Mike and Michelle's house in Massachusetts for an over night visit. Our timing was perfect and we got a bonus Ciak. We were able to spend the evening with Jess too!! It was a SUPER fun night! Mike and Michelle made yummy homemade pizzas and calzones and then we spent time reading books with Lily and Emma. After the girls were down, we enjoyed some drinks and a rousing game of Cranium. Jeff, Mike and Jess had some fun stories of the early years to share. It was truly great to catch up with everyone (just wish we all lived closer). Thank you Mike and Michelle for being such wonderful hosts. Can't wait for our next visit!!

Mike and Michelle's Visit
Jeff's cousin, Mike and his wife, Michelle came down to Virginia Beach for a long weekend visit. We hadn't seen Mike in years and had never met Michelle, so it was a wonderful opportunity to catch up. They arrived on Thursday and the four of us just talked the night away. The rest of the weekend we spent playing with the girls, hanging at the beach, BBQing, playing some wild games of Cranium and just relaxing. They even helped us celebrate Jeff's 30th (pics to follow). The girls were ABSOLUTELY SMITTEN with Mike and Michelle. Jeff and I were chopped liver the entire weekend. Thanks for coming down M&M, we loved seeing you! Can't wait to catch up this summer!

Thank You
"The greatest gift of family life is to be intimately acquainted with people you might never even introduce yourself to, had life not done it for you."
An amazing visit filled with love, laughs and lots of new memories. Thanks to all of you for helping with the girls and making a portion of this difficult deployment pass a little more quickly. We love you! Here are some of my favorite pics from our last week in Northern Maine:
