Yes, it actually happened! We had a snow storm that accumulated several inches of snow. The storm came in Saturday morning and dropped up to 8 inches in some places, a rarity here in Hampton Roads. The public schools in the area were canceled for 4 days, as the city just didn't have the equipment to move the snow. We took full advantage of the Winter Wonderland... lots of sledding, snowballs, snow angels and snowman building. Just wish someone in the neighborhood owned a shovel!
