Mother's Day Breakfast with Lily

What a wonderful morning!!! Lily and her teachers really went out of the way to give us Moms a special day.  We started the morning with a yummy full breakfast (muffins, eggs, quiche, chocolate covered strawberries, banana bread) and HANDMADE corsages.  Next we received all kinds of gifts the kids had been working on in class.  Then they serenaded us with some beautiful songs.  To end the morning, a Mom trivia game (complete with a drawing and fact sheet they had completed about us).  A big thank you to Ms. Pam, Ms. Debbie and especially to my beautiful Lily.  I felted so loved today! 

**Thank you Lily for making me a Mom, you make me so proud every day! I love you Sweetheart!!**    

Mother's Day Lunch with Emma

Enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day picnic lunch with my sweet little Emma.  Her preschool class sang a couple of songs for us and then gave us the most beautiful handmade macaroni necklaces.  We fiested on a picnic lunch with friends and ended our afternoon with yummy cookies!  Thanks to Emma and her teachers for spoiling me today.  You made me feel so special! Love you Emma!  You make Mommy so proud every day!!!

Mother's Day Retreat!

Erin and I enjoyed a day at the spa to include a 60 minute Swedish massage, Spa manicure and pedicure as well as a gourmet lunch! We topped the day off with shopping. HEAVEN is all I have to say!!

A special thank you to my wonderful hubby for watching all 4 kiddos while we enjoyed our day at the spa.!

May 7th

The kids invited all their Mom's to a picnic lunch at school for Mother's Day.

They entered the room and sang 2 very sweet songs and then we all enjoyed lunch. Lily presented me with some wonderful handmade presents which I'll cherish forever. It was truly a fun afternoon!

Mother's Day 2008

This was my first Mother's Day as a Mom of two. Jeff, Lily and Emma did a great job of making me feel loved and appreciated all day. For starters, I was able to sleep in. This is always such a WONDERFUL present to give a Mom!! At 9:30 I came down to a breakfast of blueberry pancakes and eggs...yummy. Then Jeff and the girls gave me some cards and presents. The best present was a scrapbook page that Jeff and Lily made me! I also was spoiled with an IPod Touch (it was a 30th birthday/Mom's Day gift). After breakfast I showered and then we drove over to my girlfriend Erin's house. Jeff offered to watch her two kids, plus our girls so Erin and I could enjoy a fun day of shopping and lunch (Erin's husband was out of town so she was able to get a little break and enjoy the day too). THANKS SO MUCH TO MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND for offering to watch all the kids. Jeff is such a thoughtful husband and Dad! Erin and I enjoyed several hours at the MacArthur Center Mall shopping at all our favorite stores (no kids shopping allowed) and then we savored a quiet lunch at the Nordstrom's cafe. The rest of the evening was spent relaxing at home with Jeff and the girls. Thank you Jeff, Lily and Emma....I had a wonderful, relaxing Mother's Day. I love you!

A Mother's Day Picnic and More

On May 2nd Lily and I enjoyed some special time at her school's Mother's Day picnic. We ate lunch on the front lawn with all the other Mom's and Lily gave me some handmade presents from school. It was a wonderful afternoon and a very rare occasion to get time with just Lily. After our picnic lunch we met Daddy and Emma at the beach for our first walk in the sand of the season. It was truly a great day with my family!
