Missing Jack

Lily's letter to Jack
Really missing her best friend who moved to Chicago this summer.
(she wrote this letter ALL by herself, I just told her how to spell the words!)

Lily's Soccer Practice

We enrolled Lily in the Virginia Beach NYSL (Neighborhood Youth Soccer League) and she is so excited to play soccer with her friends. She loves being active, so soccer seemed only fitting for our little sporty girl. We recently went and bought all her gear, to get her ready for her first practice (notice everything had to be pink). She'll be practicing every Wednesday evening and games are every Saturday morning starting in mid September. She's number 2 (same as Daddy's college volleyball number) on the Jaguar team. Jeff is also excited, as he will be the Asst. Coach this season. Here are some of my favorite pics from today, as well as a slideshow. Enjoy!

EVERYTHING MUST BE PINK!!

Lily's Guitar Solo

Lily just LOVES music. In these pics she's singing, "Girl's Just Want to Have Fun". She really jammed out on her Barbie guitar, complete with riffs.
I got a cute video, but it seems to be too large for blogger to upload. I'll try to post from another site soon.

Mr. Cole

Cole Thomas at 4.5 months

He's a complete sweetheart! The girls and I spent the morning with Kimmie and Cole. It was nice to snuggle him and the girls loved kissing him and reading him stories. Can't believe how fast he's growing....

Hanging with the Ciaks

On the way back to Virginia, we stopped at Mike and Michelle's house in Massachusetts for an over night visit. Our timing was perfect and we got a bonus Ciak. We were able to spend the evening with Jess too!! It was a SUPER fun night! Mike and Michelle made yummy homemade pizzas and calzones and then we spent time reading books with Lily and Emma. After the girls were down, we enjoyed some drinks and a rousing game of Cranium. Jeff, Mike and Jess had some fun stories of the early years to share. It was truly great to catch up with everyone (just wish we all lived closer). Thank you Mike and Michelle for being such wonderful hosts. Can't wait for our next visit!!

Gray Animal Farm

One of our final outings in Maine was a trip to Gray Animal Farm with Grammy Prager and the Maine Pragers. What a great place to take our girls to see all the wonderful Maine wildlife. Sam, Veronica, Sophia, Emma and Lily had a blast running through the park spotting all the animals. Some favorites, the black bear, the baby moose and deer and the fish hatchery. Here are a few pics from our day and the last of our Maine trip. Sorry about all the slide shows, just wanted to share them all quickly so I can FINALLY catch up this blog! Enjoy....

Girls' Night Out... The Old Port!!

August 7th:
While in Maine, a bunch of us Pi Phi's reunited for a fun filled Girls' Night Out. I want to send out a special thank you to Shawn, Melissa, Heather, Brianna, Major, MacBride, Nelson, Emily and Sara for showing me a FABULOUS time in the Old Port. It's been awhile since we were all together, but once we were reunited, it felt like no time had passed. I loved being out and enjoying great music, dancing, drinks and the best company. We painted the town, just like old times! Mommy rarely gets a night out like this, so I'm happy I could share it with all my favorite Maine Ladies!! Until next time...
