Sesame Place
August 31, 2007: We stopped in Langhorne, Pennsylvania to take the girls to Sesame Place. The weather was humid, but not overly sunny. We arrived at the Park to discover they offered an active duty military discount. We were excited to save a few dollars, as the park admission price was $45.00 per person, even for Lily. We were THRILLED when they handed us our tickets and said that our admission was free!! What a nice way to say thank you to the troops and their families. Once inside we had a great day riding all the rides, meeting all the Sesame Street gang, watching the parade, playing on the water rides, seeing Elmo's World LIVE and of course doing some shopping(after all we did get in free). Jeff and Lily got really cool t-shirts, Emma got some Elmo onesies and I got some scrapbooking stickers so I can always remember our special day. I also had the girls pictures taken, Lily with Elmo and Emma with Big Bird. They had great frames to match. We were at the park from 10 until 7 enjoying every moment. Lily was a little anxious waiting in the lines, but did great over all. Emma slept the day away in her carrier. We left the park exhausted, but happy to experience such a wonderful place for kids!
