House Hunting Day 1

Today was a really successful day house hunting. We looked at 15 houses, most of them we liked. Two of the houses we like enough that we are considering making offers on. We just want to take a week and see everything that is out there. The biggest problem isn't finding a house with what we want, it's trying to find a yard that will make the kids and Kastor happy. Virginia Beach houses have NO land. The yards are all postage stamps and we really want something more. There are still a lot to look at so we are keeping our fingers crossed. The two we are considering have okay yards, they just need a little TLC.

On a side note, the kids were GREAT today!! We were out from 10-2 and then stopped for lunch. After lunch Jeff took the kids home and Judy (our agent) and I hit some additional houses. The day actually went really well. Tomorrow we start again bright and early. Jeff and I are so excited to be buying a home again! We'll keep you posted.

So glad to hear all is going well in Virginia and that you are getting settled in. It was so good to see you and your wonderful family while you were here in August. Not only are you beautiful but also so funny and kind and caring towards each other and all of those around you. Can't wait to see you again! Love, Major
P.S. Great pictures of the family and the town you used to live in. So beautiful!!
